Can I do the master cleanse while taking HCG?

The master cleanse is a very high calorie and a very high carbohydrate diet. Though many people go on this cleanse to lose weight that is not its primary purpose.

Its main purpose is for cleansing and detoxing. The weight-loss most people experience while on it is really just a side effect or added benefits.

While the HCG diet program is quite the opposite. It is meant for weight loss with detoxing being a side effect. You detox because you are eating very well and giving your body a chance to clean itself out.

It requires your body to do several things, two of them are - eating very low calorie and eating minimal carbohydrates.

As you can see, these basis for which these two programs is quite the opposite.

You can certainly do both, just not at the same time.
