Detox Baths

Detox baths are great for speeding the body’s cleansing and elimination process. They can be used when on a cleanse or on a regular basis for cleansing.


Why De-tox?
THE LIVER: Research has shown that environmental pollution enters the blood stream via food, water supply and the atmosphere. When pollution enters the blood stream, it causes levels of toxins to build up in the body. Some toxins can be released through the skin with the above baths. Other toxins are affecing body functioning, especially the functioning of the liver.

Amongst other important functions, the liver is responsible for eliminating and detoxifying the poisons that enter our blood stream. It also produces bile which is essential in the breakdown of fats and is the organ which stores Vitamin A, D, E and K.

Environmental pollution, fast foods, drugs, alcohol and sedentary lifestyles all contribute to sluggish and diseased livers.

The result? A depressed immune systems, constant fatigue, obesity, sluggish digestive systems, allergies, respiratory ailments, unhealthy skin and many other health problems. A healthy liver is critical in the body's ability to fight disease and function optimally.

THE COLON: Detoxifying the colon relieves straining, promotes regularity and stimulates your body’s natural healing processes. In addition, it can help remove heavy metals and pull radioactive waste from your body.

De-tox Bath #1
  • One Cup Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • One Tablespoon Ginger
De-tox Bath #2
  • One Cup Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Three cups Kosher Salt
De-tox Bath #3
  • 16 ounces coarse Celtic sea salt
De-tox Bath #4
  • Three heaping tablespoons ginger.
  • Drink some herbal tea or chicken broth with cayenne while bathing.
For All Baths
Just add the ingredients to a tub of water. Have the temperature of the water as warm/hot as possible for maximum results. Stay in the bath for 20-30 minutes. Rinse yourself off when you exit the bath. Then when you get out, do your best to stay warm and sweat a little more.
All of these baths will help flush toxins out of your body. When on a cleanse, do a minimum of two detox baths a week. They work great when used in conjunction with a cleansing fast, gall stone cleanse or the Master Cleanse program. Even it you are not cleansing, these baths will work wonders for your health.

Personal Note:We use the Bath #1 with my two children, ages 8 and 5, on a weekly basis. We have even used Bath #1 for chicken pox. My kids came out of the tub with less itchiness and less redness.
