    The saturated small chain fatty acids help in digestion and revitalize our digestive track. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which can cure many stomach problems.

    Coconut oil doesn’t contain long chain fatty acids and thus doesn’t cause obesity. It is also wrong to think that it increases cholesterol levels. The small and medium chain fatty acids don’t contribute to weight increase and people who use coconut oil generally are less prone to obesity than people using vegetable and other oils for cooking.

    Lauric acid helps in reducing cholesterol level and keeps our heart healthy. It also prevents high blood pressure and is much beneficial to our heart than vegetable oils.

    The anti-microbial property of coconut oil can benefit an AIDS patient reducing their susceptibility to other viruses.

  6. Skin:
    Coconut is natural moisturizer for our skin. It protects our skin from dryness and makes it smooth. Regular use of coconut oil can make your rough skin much beautiful and smooth.

  7. Other Diseases:
    The health benefits of coconut oil extend in curing many other diseases and symptoms. It can cure infections, pancreatitis, kidney problems etc.
