Himalayan Sea Salt Cleanse

The Himalayan Sea Salt Cleanse, in my opinion, is one of the least expensive and easiest cleanses that you can experience. The major requirement: relax while you enjoy a nice warm bath in a but of warm salt water. Pretty easy.

This was first introduced to me by a naturopath that was working with my son when he was 8 years old. In order to overcome some of his health issues, he needed to clean out his body.

While, I recognize that an adult can do fasting, cleansing or go on a detoxing program, I wasn’t sure how do help a child cleanse and this was the key for me. 

This particular cleanse is a way to help people young and old. So not only did we use it for my son, by I have used it also and in my opinion is one of the easiest and simplest ways to do cleansing.

That’s not to say that you shouldn’t do other types of cleanses, you certainly can and should. But for a nice change and for adults or children that are unable to use harsher detoxing methods, this is a great alternative.

It’s gentle yet effective. It is a way for the body to cleanse itself out so that the it can take on the responsibility for its own health.


Himalayan Sea Salt Cleanse

Sea Salt Cleanse Recipe

1 tub of hot water (Try to make the temperature as hot as tolerable.)
16 ounces or 1 pound - Himalayan Sea Salt.
30-45 minutes of time to relax.

Fill the tub, pour in the salt, set the timer and step in for a little relaxation time.

The bonus of this experience is that is is like doing a three day cleanse without the starving and/or special herbs or nutrients.

When you are done, be sure to rinse off in the shower.
