Home Remedies for Allergies
If you are prone to seasonal allergies, there is no time like the present to prepare your home remedies for allergies first aid kit.
When working with clients, I suggest a few easy tips to help boost immunity and combat allergies.
Use a
Netipot.
Start a regular habit of sinus cleansing with it. This is one of the most effective things to wash away allergens and congestion and help your symptoms both short and long term.
Take a tablespoon of raw local honey daily to help build immunity against allergy triggers (remember not to feed honey to children under 12 months of age)
Take a good quality, potent
probiotic supplement
daily to strengthen the immune system
Consider testing yourself for
candida.
This was the root for my allergies. Once I took care of the candida, my hay fever totally disappeared.
Quercitin
(a bioflavonoid supplement) can be taken regularly or as needed for allergy symptoms and is quite effective. I have had great results with this one.
Start by staying very hydrated, thereby helping your body's mucous membranes easily clear allergens as they are encountered
Limit dairy and wheat, the two most offensive food types to the immune system and well known to worsen seasonal allergies. You may want to try a
food and allergy elimination diet
to clear out any food from your diet that may be causing you problems
Invest in a HEPA air filter for your bedroom to help remove allergens.
EnviroQuest
has good quality air filter products for you to review. We have one of these and we absolutely love it.
If you have tried using some of these solutions and you haven't found relief, it may be time for a
personalized consultation
so you can get to the root of your allergies and support your body so it no longer responds with allergic reactions.
