Personal Trainering for Me is the Best Weight Loss Program

I have always had a problem with finding the best weight loss program, and as I've gotten older it's become harder to lose weight. I'd tried diets, weight loss programs like Jenny Craig and even pills. None of them worked, actually they worked temporarily, and the weight came right back. I was going to give up and just stay the weight that I was. But I am Type II Diabetic and knew that losing the weight would be a big benefit nipping it in the bud so to speak.
So, I started working with a personal trainer a couple of months ago, and I have learned how beneficial it is to get into shape. I've toned up, and the weight is starting to come off. The trainer has also helped me regulate my diet by knocking out high carbohydrates and fatty foods and eating lean meat and vegetables.
While this type of workout and diet may take longer then the quick fix diets that are popular and on the market today, I think the best way to lose weight for me is to exercise and monitor my diet and stay away from fad diets all together.
