Salt Water Colon Cleanse

by dan
(Georgia)

Will the salt water hurt your liver drinking that much salt or any other organ?

Answer: Hi Dan,
First be sure to use Celtic Sea Salt and use the appropriate quantity in the recipe. Do NOT use iodized salt as it will not work properly and can be toxic to your body.

According to Stanley Burrough's Master Cleanser Book, "the salt water has the same specific gravity as the blood, hence the kidneys cannot pick up the water and the blood cannot pick up the salt." He goes on to say "it can do no harm at any time."

Remember, for best results do the cleanse on an empty stomach.
