Bastyr University, in Washington, is one of the world's leading academic centers for advancing study natural healing knowledge in the natural health sciences. A thirty-year pioneer in natural medicine, Bastyr continues to be in the forefront of developing the model for 21st century medicine.
A not-for-profit corporation, was founded in 1988 for the purpose of training and certifying individuals who sought to counsel others in natural health techniques. Initially, many attended the classes just for personal information concerning how they could improve their own health and those of their family members.
The association has grown, holding several hundred classes each year from coast to coast as well as some Spanish-speaking countries.Over nine thousand health professionals have participated in the seminar program. The National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals is the world's largest group of individuals committed to natural health and individual responsibility.
Let me just preface the following study natural healing materials to say that any study can have the outcome the researcher wants it to including the ones that I will share. And of course I will be sharing the ones that I feel are significant. We have all heard good and bad about both allopathic (medical) and naturopathic care. Your job is to decide for yourself which course of action works for you.
Many studies will specify a single nutrient such as vitamin E. Our bodies are not meant to work or function on isolated nutrients, but synergistically with comprehensive nutrients. For instance, healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables do not only contain one nutrient but a complexity of nutrients. Not only do we need to consider the amount of nutrient taken in but how much of it is actually assimilated. This can make a difference in the outcome of a study and the outcome of our health.
